Sergei Boboshko, Bruce Geyer, John Marino and Kiki Hargrove recently joined the sales team at Prudential Gallo, Realtors in its Rehoboth Beach location.
Born in Athens, Greece, to a family of Russian émigrés, Boboshko immigrated to the United States when he was 3 years old. He grew up in New York City and earned a degree in European history from Queens College, The City University of New York. During his international careers he has lived and worked in Greece, Saudi Arabia, Canada, the United Kingdom and Russia.
Boboshko’s previous careers included more than 30 years as a banker, primarily with Chase Manhattan in New York and overseas. After retiring from banking, he served for four years as the executive director of a pharmaceutical manufacturers’ trade association overseas, retiring for the second time in mid-2008.
He and his wife bought their retirement home in Lewes in December 2008, and Boboshko embarked on his third career: the resort real estate market. His goal is to concentrate on helping baby boomers find retirement homes.
Geyer is a third-generation Sussex County native from Milford. He was an integral part of his family’s successful business, Geyer’s Restaurant in Milford, until it was sold in 2005. Throughout the last 25 years, he has been very active in buying, selling, leasing and managing real estate in the beach resorts and inland.
After the sale of the restaurant, Geyer decided to focus his talent full time in the real estate field and obtained his Delaware real estate license in 2009. He specializes in commercial leasing and sales, as well as listing and selling residential investment properties.
Marino became a full-time Lewes resident in 2005, with thoughts of retiring after spending more than 30 years in financial services marketing in New York City and running his own marketing communications firm for more than a decade.
However, he became intrigued with the resort real estate market and earned his license for a postretirement career. Marino believes listening to the customer is the key to good service.
Hargrove was a top producer at Kay Ireland Real Estate Services in Edina, Minn., before she joined Barbara Morales Associates of Prudential Gallo, Realtors. Hargrove also has a strong marketing background, performing as marketing director for the Twin Cities Marathon and PredictiveProfiles, an employment screening and recruiting firm.
Hargrove grew up in the Washington, D.C. area and spent many summers at the Delaware beaches. After earning her bachelor of science degree from the University of Maryland, Hargrove relocated to Minnesota but made it a priority to get back to Delmarva numerous times a year.
