As one of the final 3-day tournaments for Summer 2017, Sandcastle Open proved to be a great opportunity for players and families to hit the beaches after the ballgame. With gorgeous weather and intense competition, SATB was proud to host so many out-of-town teams this weekend! Let's look at the final standings:

In the 10U division, the Special Forces earned the win following a 9-1 final round versus the LI Indians Elite. The 11U champions were the Holman Hurricanes Elite (as many of you predicted on Facebook!) coming out of the weekend with 6-0 stats after a 9-8 game opposite the NJ Prospects. The 12U trophy went home with the Brooklyn Blue Storm, who brought a 15-10 score against the Bagel Bombers Crouch. In the 13U bracket, ASBA Downington pulled ahead by one in the 6-5 final game opposite Cage Academy. Meanwhile in 14U, CT Mayhem also won by a 1-point lead versus Team All American Quinn, for an end score of 4-3. And last but never least, the 15-16U champions were Combat Titans 15U, who closed out the weekend with an impressive 8-0 standing and a Sunday shutout with the Batting 1.000 Seminoles.
