Stop into Blooming Boutique this Wednesday, February 19th from 3pm – 6pm to support the Cancer Support Community of Delaware! During this night, 20% of regularly priced proceeds will be donated to this wonderful organization. All of Micha Seto’s Lewes stores including Blooming Boutique, Treasures, Blooming Boutique Accessories, and Lewes Gifts will be participating in the event. Special for this evening, at both Blooming Boutique locations, you can fill a large shopping bag with up to 10 clothing items from a select area in the store for only $100 cash AND $20 of the sale will go back to the Cancer Support Community! Visit Treasures and Lewes Gifts locations too which carry many great products for men and women including home décor and now gourmet food!
Cancer Support Community of Delaware is a statewide nonprofit organization whose mission is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. Their members are adults, teens and children with cancer and their family members and caregivers.
The Cancer Support Community is the only organization in Delaware dedicated exclusively to helping people cope with and manage the emotional aspect of cancer; providing weekly support groups facilitated by trained, licensed and experienced psychotherapists. At these meetings, people with cancer and their caregivers explore new ways of dealing with the physical and emotional problems associated with the disease. In addition, the following is just a small list of their offerings: Kids’ Circle; Teen Talk; Family Groups; Specific Cancer Site Groups; Yoga; Educational Workshops; Nutrition Seminars; Art Therapy; and Community Events. As all of their services are provided free of charge, they rely on the generosity of government, foundations, corporations and individuals to continue their programs.
It seems nearly everyone has been impacted by cancer in some way or another, and Blooming Boutique is particularly excited to partner with the Cancer Support Community in this fundraiser to help support their noble work.
