Continued Support for Bayhealth’s Perinatal and Infant Bereavement Services

February 14, 2020

Footsteps for Maddie recently made another generous donation in the amount of $4,000 to the Bayhealth Foundation. The money, which was raised through the second annual Footsteps for Maddie 5K Run/Walk held last fall at Killens Pond State Park, will be used to support Bayhealth’s perinatal and infant bereavement services. Pictured here at a ceremonial check presentation are Shannon Kerpen of Footsteps for Maddie; Chuck Desch, Bayhealth Foundation director of development; Cheryl Hewlett, Bayhealth Women’s and Children’s Services senior director; Beth Lucas, Bayhealth perinatal loss bereavement coordinator; Kathryn Starr Lynch, Bayhealth Women’s Services senior nurse manager; Christie Bonniwell of Footsteps for Maddie; and Jane Hewitt, Bayhealth lead patient advocate. Visit Bayhealth.org/Womens-Childrens-Health to learn more about the services Bayhealth provides to women and children.
