ReStore policies


Products can be returned within 14 days, (within 28 days for appliances) for a merchandise store credit or exchange.

The following conditions apply to all returns:

  • Must be accompanied by the purchase receipt
  • Must be returned to the ReStore location where the purchase was made
  • Must be in original purchased condition
  • Store credit, “Final sale” and “as is” purchases cannot be returned
  • Sorry, we do not provide refunds on purchased items


holding/reserving items

Items can be placed “on hold” for up to three hours at the sole discretion of the ReStore manager. High demand items cannot be placed on hold.

purchase pick-up/delivery

At the sole discretion of the store manager, items may be paid for and picked up later. We do not deliver items. All items must be collected within one week of purchase. Sold items left longer than one week may be disposed of in any manner by the ReStore. PLEASE NOTE: All SOLD items left at a GTA Habitat ReStore are not the responsibility of the ReStore.


All efforts are made to ensure consistency of pricing between ReStores operated by Habitat for Humanity GTA. Due to the unique nature of ReStore products and the frequently fluctuating stock, there may occasionally be price differentiation for similar items in our stores.

Items are priced to sell at significantly below original retail value. Price negotiation is not our practice.
