Free Concert Thursday in Lewes Canalfront Park-Indian River Band

The free Concerts by the Canal series completes its eighth season with the popular Indian River Band, formerly the Clifford Keith Band. The band will perform in Lewes Canalfront Park, located at 211 Front Street in Historic Lewes, on Thursday August 29 at 7:00 pm. This event is free and made possible through support of Dogfish Head Craft Brewery and Friends of the Lewes Canalfront Park. Bring your blanket or lawn chair, and maybe a picnic supper for a fun, free Concert by the Canal on the banks of the beautiful Lewes-Rehoboth Canal.

Indian River plays a masterful blend of original songs and songs from the band's well-known country, folk, and Americana musical repertoire. They released their first full length, Nashville recorded album, Coastal Hwy, in the summer of 2018. Hailing from Sussex County, Indian River has amassed a loyal following. On the forefront of an emerging style of music, called Coastal Country, the group's sound and style is influenced by the long, sandy Atlantic Ocean coastline on which they currently reside.
