The Podcast features an interview with Ed Zygmonski of “Art In Bloom”, a committee of “Lewes In Bloom” (an award-winning organization that has been beautifying Lewes for 16 years). Art In Bloom’s goal is to place public art in parks in the City of Lewes.
Committee member Ed explains during the first hour, the fundraising campaign to permanently install three kinetic wind sculptures by internationally known sculptor Lyman Whitaker around the new Lewes Public Library. The trio of works will be called “Silent Sentinels Of Lewes”. Each of these stunning and graceful sculptures are between 13 and 18 feet tall! Known for their beauty and durability, the sculptures spin silently and responsively to even the slightest breeze but are also capable of enduring heavy storms and gale force winds. It’s your chance to weigh in on the project and to learn more about how you can help with your donations.
