Managing Taxes in Retirement Workshop TOMORROW in Lewes

A free class is being offered to the public, Thursday, February 21st from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Lewes Public Library, located at 111 Adams Ave., Lewes, Delaware.  Theeducational course on managing taxes will examine various tax-related topics for individuals who are at or near retirement. We will talk about Required Minimum Distributions (RMD’s), Tax Witholding, Medicare Premiums, Distribution planning and other planning items to help attendees determine an appropriate strategy for them. 

The Money School, the "signature program" of the Delaware Financial Literacy Institute, provides more than 650 no-cost financial and business start-up classes and events across the state each year.  Class topics range from simple budgeting and saving to investing and retirement planning- and everything in between! Hassle-free, sales-free classes are taught by volunteers from the non-profit, financial, and government sectors.
