Nanticoke Health Services is pleased to announce that Mary Young has been named Employee of the Month for September 2017.

Mary started her career with Nanticoke Health Services in May 1978 as a Housekeeper in the Environmental Services department for a three month period. In her fourth month of employment, she was transferred to the Linen Department to help with staffing shortages and worked there for 18 years. She then transferred to Central Service where she worked for the next 10 years. In 2006, she began her current career in the Operating Room (OR) as the OR/Central Supply Core Tech.

Mary lives in Laurel with her husband of 44 years, Bob. She has 2 children, Rob and April, and enjoys being “Mom-mom” to her three grandchildren: Trey, Jasmine and Austin. Mary spends most of her spare time watching her grandchildren grow and plays an active role in their extracurricular activities such as band, soccer, and color guard. Mary also enjoys watching NASCAR races, traveling to Myrtle Beach to enjoy shows and beach time, and spending time at her beach house in Berlin, Maryland.

Nanticoke appreciates all of Mary’s hard work and dedication. Please join us in congratulating her as the Employee of the Month for September 2017!
