Here is Mottahedeh Palma. It is hard to believe that the palm tree dinner plates and cup and saucers were designed for the Kremlin under the patronage of Tsar Nicholas 1 in 1840.This was his state dinner pattern. Firstly, the palms are warm weather plants and secondly the plates look so contemporary. The simplified dessert plates as well as the Palma wave service plate are our design and meant to offer a simple statement. and playful accompaniment to this historic pattern.
