Online Basketball Training

April 25, 2020

Factory Sports is offering a chance for local youth to improve their basketball skills, compete against friends, and have fun through an Online Baskebtall Skills Challenge. The Skills Challenge is 5-days long and runs Monday through Friday.

Participants will be given a new drill/challenge each day. Instruction and coaching is from Factory Sports owner and the two-time Henlopen Conference Coach of the Year, Pat Woods. There will be instructional videos and coaching from many familiar Factory Sports faces. “We wanted to offer a place where kids can come together and compete against one another in drills, improve their basketball skill set, and have fun. This is also a good way to see many of our athletes and have our staff interact with them. We miss our families”, Woods stated. Factory Sports encourages participants to share video and comments about their training, “Our goal is to help bring the community together via recorded videos, Zoom meetings, and training. The most important thing is that everyone remains safe during these times”, added Woods.

The Online Skills Challenge will consist of a 3-week progression:

Ballhandling 101

Finishing 101

Shooting 101

The program will start Week 3 - Shooting 101 on Monday.
