Personal Injury Protection . . . Do You Have Enough?

Every insurance policy insuring a motor vehicle registered in Delaware must have coverage for personal injury protection (PIP).

If you are in a car accident, regardless of who is at fault, PIP is there to pay for the following:

-medical bills;

-lost wages for missed time from work;

-personal services necessary because of an injury; and

- funeral expenses.

My name is Chase Brockstedt and in my injury practice at Baird Mandalas Brockstedt, I see many tragic situations where someone was injured by another driver and they were surprised to learn they only had the minimum amount of PIP insurance, which is $15,000 per person in Delaware.

Having adequate PIP insurance is critical.  Following an accident, many of my clients cannot pay their mortgage or rent, utility and grocery bills.

If you don't understand PIP insurance or need advice when deciding how much automobile insurance you should have to protect you and your family, give me a call.  I would be happy to meet with you and review your automobile insurance policy free of charge.

At BMB, we are here to help you.  And that is just one of the many reasons why we are different.

I can be reached by phone at (302) 644-0302 or you can email me at chase@bmbde.com.
