Record-Breaking Seventh Year for Screams at the Beach in 2017
(GEORGETOWN) Year SE7EN at Screams has come and gone, leaving fright fans across Delmarva ready for the next nightmare.
In 2017, Screams at the Beach offered thousands of victims an unforgettable experience through a total of 9 attractions--including the debut of 2 horror-filled Escape Rooms. The infamous 10 Nights of Terror ran throughout the month of October and brought countless fright fans straight to their limits through the improvisations of award-winning actors, shockingly authentic sets/props, and acres of brilliant special effects.
Led by a remarkable team of visionary producers and dedicated haunt managers, Screams was critically commended several times throughout the season for its sheer originality, versatility, and truly twisted approach to interactive horror. Among the Year SE7EN accolades was a coveted 6 out of 5 rating from national horror enthusiast The Haunt Rater, which included an ‘above and beyond’ skull award for Extreme Terror. “INSANELY scary...INSANELY awesome! Well over 100 members of the Screams cast, production crew, and event staff all contributed to the record-breaking success of Year SE7EN. A prevailing motto among the Scream Team is “We do it for the Screams” and this was definitely true throughout the entire season; from weeks of preparation leading up to Opening Night to the evenings with nonstop streams of victims from Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia. Screams at the Beach would like to thank all who came out to face their fears, and all who contributed time, effort, talent, and sanity to make us the #1 Haunted Attraction in Delaware for 2017.
