It’s shopping season in the Cape Region and we are getting vocal about shopping local!
Keep your dollars in Delaware’s Cape Region this holiday season.
Cape Gazette, in partnership with presenting sponsor County Bank, is pleased to announce the formation of Shopping Cape. This holiday shopping extravaganza features local businesses and retailers encouraging everyone to shop with independently-owned businesses this holiday season.
In addition to the joy received while shopping with small businesses in the Cape Region, local shoppers will have the opportunity to win thousands of dollars worth of local gift cards. Just send any receipt from one of our participating locations to ShoppingCape@capegazette.com and you will be entered for a chance to win:
GRAND PRIZE – $500 in local gift cards.
SECOND PLACE – $250 in local gift cards
THIRD PLACE – $150 in local gift cards

Plus, each day from November 18 to December 23 there will be drawings for your chance to win $50 gift cards from our participating locations. Daily winning receipts will be placed back in the pool for the grand prize drawing. Individuals may enter as many new receipts as possible, so the more you shop small, the greater your chance at winning.

- Receipts must be dated between November 15, and December 23, 2019
- Only receipts from participating retail locations and sponsor companies listed on this website will be entered for prize drawings
- Weekly prizes will be drawn from all receipts provided as of the day of the drawing
- Receipts drawn for a weekly prize will be reentered for the grand prize drawing
- Winners will be notified via email
