Sussex Eye Welcomes Dr. Kristen Vincent

- Private group -
July 13, 2018

Sussex Eye Center has the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Kristen Vincent  to our practice.  Dr. Vincent is a Dewey Beach native and joins our optometry team with residency training in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy.  Dr. Vincent is accepting patients in our Georgetown, Long Neck, and Selbyville offices.

It is never too early to start checking off your back to school list - and one of the top necessities should be an eye exam.  Dr. Vincent’s residency training allows her to not only correct blurry vision, but also diagnose and treat eye turns, focusing problems, and eye teaming deficiencies, all of which can negatively impact a child’s performance in school.

Dr. Vincent will be establishing a Vision Therapy clinic here at Sussex Eye Center, a service not currently available in Southern Delaware and Northeast Maryland.  She will direct therapies to help correct vision problems not able to be corrected by glasses alone.  These include lazy eye, eye turn, and problems with over or under focusing.  She is also able to use these therapies to help individuals who have had strokes, concussions, and other head injuries that affect the eyes.
