Treat yourself to something special at 1776 Steakhouse
Even during these stressful times, you can be sure that the 2018 & 2019 Best of Delaware award-winning 1776 Steakhouse continues to be the place for great steaks & seafood. Even with the temporarily limited indoor seating, 1776 still provides first-quality steaks and seafood to guests. Located midway between Rehoboth and Lewes for well over two decades, 1776 is the perfect venue for special friends, great conversation and the finest steaks along with fresh seafood, chops, chicken, pasta and vegetarian dishes. Beware of pretenders! Others may come and go, but 1776 Steakhouse has stood the test of time.
1776 is back to being open 7 days a week - Monday-Wednesday 4:30 - 9 p.m.; Thursday- Saturday 4 - 9:30 p.m. and Sunday 4 - 9 p.m. for reserved indoor seating, takeout and curbside service. Maintain your “social distance” and still get the perfect dinner to enjoy at home or in the restaurant! Depending on your mood at the moment, those perfect dinners could include a dry-aged New York Strip, or perhaps 1776’s filet mignon (three sizes to choose from), the signature 10oz. barrel steak, the juicy 16oz. prime rib or maybe even the 22 oz. porterhouse (a Rehoboth Foodie pick hit for over 12 years).
It’s not just about steaks at 1776, either. Seafood lovers know that they can enjoy equally perfect dinners such as the twin broiled jumbo crab cakes, the cedar plank salmon, or the stuffed lobster tail. By the way, if you order the lobster, give the 1776 kitchen an hour’s notice so they can do it up just right.
All the desserts are still up for grabs, including 1776’s very own crème brulee cheesecake. You can also choose the Devil’s Own chocolate cake and of course the key lime pie. Pair your feast with a bottle of wine or one of Johnny’s unusual brews, including his lineup of rare Trappist ales.
Owners Tom Holmes, Tammy Mozingo and Johnny Farquhar invite you to experience their revolutionary dining. Take a look at the menu at www.1776steakhouse.com, call (302) 645-9355 to make a reservation or to pick up takeout. 1776 – next to the theaters in Midway Center – for over 25 years.
