‘French Exit’ opening at the Cinema Art Theater April 2

Starting Friday, April 2, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater will present “French Exit,” a dark dramedy about a wealthy widow and her son who move to Paris when they run out of money. The film is based on a novel by the same name written by best-selling author Patrick DeWitt.

An aging Manhattan socialite (Michelle Pfeiffer) and possessive mother spends the last of her inheritance and is in dire straits. She decides to leave the United States to live in France with her aimless son (Lucas Hedges). 

Screening times are 3 p.m., Friday, April 2; 3 and 6 p.m., Saturday, April 3; 3:30 p.m., Sunday, April 4; 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 7; and 6 p.m., Thursday, April 8.  Admission is $8 for members and $11 for future members. Customers are encouraged to purchase tickets online at rehobothfilm.com. If seats are available, tickets can be purchased at the theater starting 30 minutes prior to each screening.
