April 8, 2021

Starting Friday, April 9, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater will present “Nomadland,” a breathtaking drama about a widow in her 60s who embarks on a life-altering journey.

The third feature film from director Chloé Zhao, the film features real nomads Linda May, Swankie and Bob Wells as Fern’s mentors and comrades in her exploration through the vast and beautiful landscape of the American West. The film is a Golden Globe winner for Best Picture and Best Director. It has six Oscar nominations including Best Picture and Best Director.

Screening times are 3 p.m., Friday, April 9; 6 p.m., Saturday, April 10; 2 p.m., Sunday, April 11; and 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 14.  Admission is $8 for members and $11 for future members.
