‘Assisted Living: The Musical’ at Milton Theatre Sept. 28-29

Finally, a musical written and performed with seniors in mind. “Assisted Living: The Musical” follows the lives and antics of the inhabitants of Pelican Roost Retirement Home. Imagine: no work, no pregnancy and a full array of Medicare-subsidized pharmaceuticals. Watch and laugh as the hilarity ensues 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 28, and for two shows Saturday, Sept. 29, at 2 and 8 p.m.

The residents are partying at Pelican Roost, the full-service retirement community that is home to the 18 different characters, played by the show's two actors. The show's characters sing and dance, revel and kvetch, celebrate and bloviate their way through later life.

With only three shows, including a convenient Saturday matinee for the early crowd, buy tickets soon. This show is perfect for seniors and their families. Tickets are $25 to $35.
