Engaging in the challenge of confronting racism, Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rehoboth Beach will host a book study of Robin DiAngelo’s book “White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism.” Sessions will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m., every other Thursday from Feb. 4 to April 29.
This is a book study to help white folks explore how systemic racism functions in the world, and how their emotions, words and actions can either help or harm the movement for racial justice.
For more information on how to sign up, contact Dr. Christine Hansvick at hansvick@plu.edu, or email the church office at rehobothwpc20@gmail.com.
