AAA names Brick Hotel in top 25 percent of boutique properties

June 14, 2019

The Brick Hotel on the Circle, a small 14-room boutique hotel located in Georgetown,  has been recognized as a 2019 AAA Inspector’s Best Of Housekeeping hotel.  This award indicates that the property’s cleanliness and condition rank in the top 25 percent of the 27,000 AAA Inspected & Approved hotels.

“The Brick is a unique, historic property, offering travelers a one-of-a-kind experience,” said owner Lynn Lester.  “But if there’s been one thing that I’ve always had confidence in, it is that my guests will recognize the attention my staff gives to every detail, from customer service to the condition and cleanliness of their rooms, common areas, and building.  While I am honored and humbled by this award, the kudos really go to my staff, housekeepers Lisa Confer and Deb Wootten, and Manager Garth Huffman.”

The Brick is located right in the center of Sussex County, just “16 Miles from Anywhere,” including the busy resort area.  It has the hub of Georgetown, and the preferred lodging spot for potential retirees, Sports at the Beach enthusiasts, and beach-goers who prefer to return to the peace and quiet of The Brick. In addition, this property is also a popular spot for weddings, special events, family reunions, and corporate travel.  With an onsite restaurant and pub, The Brick is a one-stop shop for many events.
