Ada Mae Burton (Waples), Rehoboth native

Ada Mae Burton (Waples), 83, of Rehoboth Beach was the daughter of the late Hurley Richard Waples Sr. and Annie Mae Short. Ada was born and raised in Rehoboth Beach. She was one of six children and was preceded in death by a brother, Augustus Waples; and sisters, Irene Morris and Martha White. She is survived by a brother, Hurley Waples (Estelle); a sister Emma Harmon (Thomas), and one brother-in-law, William White.

Preceding her in death are two daughters, Debra Caesar and Zelda Sample; and one son, Zane Caesar. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her husband Martin Burton; two sons, Zellus Caesar of Smyrna and Zelvin Caesar of Rehoboth Beach; seven grandchildren Tyshi Hazzard of Rehoboth Beach, Terrance Hitchens of Georgetown, Taren Hall (Timothy) of Georgetown, Summer Church Johnson (AJ) of Salisbury, Md., Zelvin Caesar of Salisbury, Alecia Caesar of Thorton, Ak., and Janicia Church of Salisbury; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Celebration of life service will be held at noon, Saturday, Nov. 28, at St. John 2nd Baptist Church, 26602 Mt Joy Road, Millsboro. Family and friends may visit two hours prior to service.
