Alan F. Miller III, talented artist

Alan F. Miller III, 38, passed away at home in Milton Friday, April 16, 2021.  Born in Bethesda, Md., May 6, 1982, he was the son of Susan R. Korwek of Milton and Alan F. Miller Jr. of Newcastle, Okla. 

Alan was incredible at working with his hands, and a talented artist, drawing popular artists and actors.  He enjoyed cooking and was a long-term worker in both the hospitality and restaurant fields. Above all, Alan cherished time spent with those he held most dear.  He was a loving and devoted partner, father, son, brother and friend.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Alan is survived by his life partner, Amber Melson; his daughter, Josie Leanne Miller; his sister, Kristina M. Miller; his brother, Alexander Korwek; his stepbrother, Robert J. Korwek; his stepfather, Robert S. Korwek; his stepmother, Eileen Miller;  and his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is also survived by a large extended family.

A Celebration of Alan's Life will be held Saturday, June 26, at 4 p.m., at the Moose Lodge, 28971 Lewes-Georgetown Highway, Lewes.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
