The choirs of Albright College return to Lewes to perform a variety of sacred and secular works, in a concert sponsored by the St. Cecilia Guild, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Second and Market sts., Sunday, Oct. 14, at 2 p.m.

The Albright Angels and Mane Men, directed by Adlai Binger, are composed of 24 students attending the Reading, Pa. college. The ensemble was created almost 20 years ago at the request of students who wanted to express themselves through their common love of singing.

Lewes is the combined choirs’ third performance in a fall tour of five communities in Pennsylvania and Delaware. They last performed here in 2016.

The group’s repertoire encompasses many types of music, including works from the Renaissance, pop favorites, folk, jazz, sacred pieces and American spiritual music. There is no charge for any of the concerts offered by the St. Cecilia Guild, but a goodwill offering is welcome.
