Alexander Tesluk, enjoyed the outdoors

January 10, 2023

Alexander Tesluk, 78, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at Harbor Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Lewes. He was born March 19, 1944, in Salzburg, Austria, son of the late Ivan and Raisa Teslenko.

Alexander moved to the United States with his family when he was 5 years old and grew up in Philadelphia, Pa. He had a lifetime career as a machinist, dedicating nearly 50 years to the Jade Corporation. Alexander enjoyed all things outdoors, particularly fishing and hunting. An amateur golfer, he hit the links whenever the opportunity presented, and he took great pride in his carpentry work, into which he put much love. Alexander was a loyal Philadelphia sports fan, supporting the Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, and Flyers, even after his move to Rehoboth Beach. He was a family man, whose loved ones took priority above all. Alexander was a loving and devoted husband and father, and an immensely proud grandfather and great-grandfather. Loved by all who had the good fortune to know him, he will be genuinely missed.

In addition to his parents, Alexander was preceded in death by his sister, Vera Danilenko. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lois M. Tesluk of Rehoboth Beach; his sons:  Alexander J. Tesluk (Audra) of Wrightsville, Pa., and Stephen Tesluk (Gail) of Jamison, Pa.; his grandchildren:  George Lichty of Dallastown, Pa., Brandon Tesluk of York, Pa., Nicholas Tesluk of Lancaster, Pa., and Brittany Tesluk of Maple Grove, Minn.; and his great-grandchildren:  Harper Tesluk of York, Riya Tesluk of Maple Grove, Ivan Tesluk of Lancaster, and Lani Serrano of Lancaster.
