All ages invited to Trinket or Treat in Milton Oct. 19

October 14, 2019

As much fun as it is to hand out candy on Halloween, the owners of Ogre's Grove miss going trick-or-treating and know they can't be the only adults that feel that way.

Thus they are organizing a Trinket or Treat loop from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 19, as part of the Fall Back Into Milton festivities.

This is no trick - people, no matter the year they're born, who want free trinkets or treats must come in costume. The more creative, the better, as prizes will be awarded after the trick-or-treating ends.

The Eastern Shore Ghostbusters will be outside while participants register for free from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Everyone will receive a map of loop locations, which includes bicycle chain fidgets from 302 Bicycles, cone cards from King's Homemade Ice Cream Shop, temporary tattoos from the Speckled Roost and desserts from the Suburban Farmhouse and Little Brick Cakery.

Return the map, signed by all businesses, to Ogre’s Grove by 2 p.m., when the judging starts, and choose a comic book from the $3 back issue room for free. The costume contestant who wins first place will receive gift cards from local businesses.

Ogre's Grove is located at 129 Union St., in the historic house next to the Milton library. For more information, go to www.OgresGrove.com.
