Alyce Joyce Bingham, 91, of Milton, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Country Rest Home in Greenwood. She was born March 11, 1935, in Chalfont, Pa., daughter of the late Cecil Rickert and Alice Humlhanz Rickert. Alyce retired as an administrative assistant in 1995 after 25 years of service at the Department of Water Resources Administration for Maryland. She and her late husband Paul Bingham, who passed in 2022, had both lived and worked in the Annapolis, Md. area before retiring to the beach area.
She was a lover of music and sang in her church choir for many years. Also, crocheting, gardening, reading, and working jigsaw puzzles were some of her favorite things to do. However, traveling all over the world with her husband brought her the most enjoyment.
In addition to her husband, Alyce was predeceased by her son, Stephen Bingham; and her sister; Beverly Trauger.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Layne Heller of Milton; grandchildren, Stephen Heller of Costa Rica, Nathan Heller (Julie) of Maryland, Casey Warren (Kyle) of Texas; six great-grandchildren; her brother, Kenneth Barry Rickert of Massachusetts; many nieces and nephews; and a devoted extended family member, Melissa Hayes.
There are no formal services planned.
