It’s what’s under the hood that sets the Corvette apart from many other cars. Car show enthusiasts get a close-up look at a line of Corvettes, known as America’s Sports Car. More than 1.7 million ‘Vettes have been sold since 1953.

What’s a Corvette show without a few classics? This 1956 convertible is owned by Vernon Vane. The first ‘Vette rolled off the assembly line in 1953. That year, 300 Corvettes were sold.
