Andrew Williams is a well-prepared councilman

May 10, 2022

As we sat down to gather our thoughts to prepare this letter, two quotes come to mind that best summarize why we have decided to support Andrew Williams for Lewes mayor. The first one, “The most important trip you may take in life is meeting people halfway,” reminds us of the spirit with which Andrew has conducted himself during his council service.

We have observed Andrew in action, often on YouTube, and see in him qualities of an elected official who comes to the meeting well-prepared, someone who has already done his homework. He understands the subject matter and, importantly, the concerns of his constituents because he has already expended the energy to understand how the community will be affected.

It is the second quote that we best feel speaks to why Andrew is the right person at this time for Lewes: “The best way to predict the future is to create it.” We see in Andrew a future for Lewes that is reinvigorated, a Lewes that is not fearful of change, and the energy that can only come from an individual who has the passion that Andrew has exhibited during his time on council. If you are asking yourself what Lewes’ future is, look no further than Andrew.

These are the reasons why we enthusiastically endorse Andrew Williams and his candidacy for Lewes mayor. We encourage you to vote for Andrew.
