Angola by the Bay will host its 51st annual craft show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, July 18, rain or shine, at its community clubhouse at 33457 Woodland Circle, Lewes. 

Around 130 artisans and vendors from throughout Delaware will be selling their wares including paintings, plants, photographs, handmade jewelry, fishing equipment and clothing.

This marks the fourth year that Ashley Jeanne DiMeglio, an artist specializing in fine art, coastal and wearable art, is a participating vendor in the ABTB Craft Fair. “It continues to be the highlight of my event season,” DiMeglio said. “The sense of community is truly special, with friendly attendees, supportive fellow vendors and an atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcome.” 

DiMeglio said one of the things she appreciates the most about this event is the outstanding foot traffic. “Year after year, the fair attracts a steady stream of enthusiastic visitors who genuinely enjoy supporting local artists and makers. The combination of excellent  organization, wonderful people and strong community support makes ABTB Craft Show a standout event that I always look forward to returning to.”

In addition to returning vendors, ABTB has attracted new crafters as well. Chris Rogahn will be displaying handblown and kiln-formed glass. Amber DeLouis’s mobile boutique features home goods, wooden crafts and laser art.

The craft show is sponsored by the Sea Gals, part of the ABTB community. Established in 1975, the Sea Gals is a social and fundraising group made up of women who contribute monies raised to support local nonprofit organizations, charitable groups and projects within the ABTB community and surrounding area. Charities include local food pantries, veterans’ groups, the Boys & Girls Club and Pathways to Success. Other fundraising activities sponsored by the Sea Gals include a mahjong tournament and a yard sale.

All vendor spots are sold out. Parking and admission are free.
