Ann W. Berry, enjoyed bowling

Ann W. Berry, 79, of Frankford, formerly of Camp Springs, Md., passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md.  

She was born in Keyser, W.Va., April 14, 1940, daughter of the late Raymond Wright and Elsie (Dawson) Wright.  Ann worked as an administrative assistant with the Census Bureau for 12 years, before her retirement in 2000.

Ann was an avid bowler, and was a faithful member of St. Ann’s Wednesday bowling league.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and socializing with her friends and family.  Ann took great pride in decorating her home and gardening.  She will be remembered by her family for her love of shopping, music and always willing to put other’s needs before her own.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Rayma Wade and Delores Wright.  She is survived by the love of her life of 59 years, James I. Berry; three children, Michael Eric Berry and his wife Susan of St. Leonard, Md., Susan Michelle Czecha and her husband Vincent of Clinton, Md., and Stephen Wright Berry and his wife Sarah Blake of Atlanta, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 28, at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Road, Ocean View, where a visitation will begin at 10 a.m.  Interment will be held privately at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Dagsboro.
