Epworth United Methodist Church will hold a Cookie Walk Saturday, Dec. 2, from 9 a.m. until the cookies are gone. Doors open at 9 a.m. Leashes of Love, a K-9 visitation ministry of Epworth, has joined hands and paws with the Cookie Walk team, and will be selling homemade Doggie Delights that were freshly baked using all natural ingredients and healthy recipes.
Members of the Epworth congregation and Leashes of Love will provide dozens of their favorite homemade cookies and treats, which are sure to be a great addition to holiday gatherings and entertaining. The price will be $8 per pound, and boxes will be provided.
Proceeds from the Cookie Walk will go to a number of Epworth's outreach ministries, which demonstrate their care and concern for the community. The Caring Ministry Team works to put faith into action and demonstrate care in the community and in the church. Additionally offering help to those recovering from natural disasters or from a personal struggle, Epworth lives out the love of neighbor, reaching near and far through these ministries.
