Another coronavirus by-product in Sussex

May 15, 2020

This letter is directed to the residents of, and visitors to (yes, we still have a lot of out-of-state vehicles here) Sussex County.

Don’t you think the continued destruction of our environment and the wildlife habitat by the development of new houses is bad enough?

What about the cigarette butts, beer cans, food containers, construction debris along the highways here in Eastern Sussex County?

Yes, it is bad, but now we are dealing with the people that are throwing their rubber gloves and masks in the parking lots and along our highways.  Please stop! If you do not know how to dispose of these items properly, then stop wearing them.

Our scenic highways are not your personal garbage cans.
