Two area applications are scheduled for public hearings at the Thursday, Sept. 12 Sussex County Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.
A proposed subdivision on Log Cabin Hill Road, advertised by the county as a hearing at the Sept. 12 meeting, has been removed by the applicant. A story in the Sept. 3 edition stated the subdivision was to be included on the agenda.
W&B Hudson Family LTD of Milton is seeking a rezoning from AR-1, agricultural-residential, and MR, medium-density residential, to C-3, heavy commercial, for commercial space and warehouses on a 37-acre parcel adjacent to the new Royal Farms convenience store on the south side of Route 9 east of the Harbeson Road intersection. The preliminary plan calls for a supermarket and or drugstore on the site.
Harbeson Farm Revex LLC has filed a rezoning application from AR-1, agricultural-residential, and MR, medium-density residential, to B-2, business community district, for a .8-acre parcel at 18865 Harbeson Road approximately one-half mile south of the Route 9 intersection.
