A Sussex Send-Off event is being planned by the Rob Arlett for U.S. Senate Campaign for Saturday, Oct. 20. This event will give Sussex County voters a chance to personally shake hands with Arlett to offer support as he leaves to concentrate the remaining time of his senatorial campaign “above the ditch.”

Arlett will begin his visits to the nine representative districts at 8:30 a.m., Oct. 20 at the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department, 302 East King St. He will then progress to Laurel, Bridgeville, Georgetown area, Millsboro, Millville-Ocean View-Bethany Beach, Rehoboth, then up to Milton and ending in Milford. All these visits will be approximately 30 minutes. Exact times and locations, when finalized, will be announced.

Sussex County Chairman Phil Drew described this effort as a time for voters in each of the nine Sussex County representative districts to meet Arlett, wish him well and show him that Slower/Lower Delaware is behind him.
