Two polymer and acrylic works by Delaware artist Joseph Barbaccia are part of the juried members' exhibition on display through Sunday, Sept. 6, at the Biggs Museum of American Art, 406 Federal St., Dover. 

Born in Philadelphia in 1952, Barbaccia studied at its Tyler School of Fine Art. From 1976 to 1984, he traveled throughout the United States and the South Pacific, concentrating on drawing and painting in a mostly representational style. Barbaccia has exhibited widely in galleries and major venues throughout the East Coast and the Mid-Atlantic, including the Academy Art Museum in Easton, Md.; the Delaware Contemporary in Wilmington and Rehoboth Art League in Rehoboth Beach; and the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, D.C. 

Barbaccia said being included in the exhibit gives him "a sense of involvement in producing and perpetuating the arts in Delaware. A decade-old dream come true."
