Artful Touch to teach iPhone photography and editing March 20

March 14, 2019

Milton Arts Guild’s Artful Touch topic for this month will be iPhone photography and editing, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, at 310 Walnut St., Milton.

Paul and Sharon Hammesfahr will explore and share simple yet effective techniques for versatile taking and editing of iPhone photos.

Using the somewhat hidden editing effects native to the iPhone, the instructors will show attendees how to turn their snapshots into creative and interesting images. They will explain uses of relatively inexpensive additional lenses for special effects to broaden the capabilities of attendees’ iPhones.

This class covers the basic and advanced editing of photos using existing iPhone software. While editing using Android devices is quite similar, only iPhone-specific examples will be demonstrated.

Paul and Sharon Hammelsfahr, both avid photographers, travel extensively and capture images they use for photo reference, but also enter many different photography exhibitions. Both are local award-winning artists.

MAG Artful Touch classes explore new techniques and topics in a no-pressure environment, making these classes a great way to try something new and get to know others in a welcoming atmosphere while learning together.

Paid in advance, the fee for members is $30 or $40 for nonmembers; cost at the door is $40 for all. To register, go to www.miltonartsguild.org, or contact Linda Braswell at 302-242-8420 or lbraswell23@gmail.com, or Lynda Rae Gannon at 302-632-7868 or LyndaRaeG@gmail.com.
