Continuing its community service initatives, the Kiwanis Club of Coastal Delaware recently gathered at Diego’s Bar in Rehoboth Beach for a drive to collect school supplies, toddler clothing and diapers.

To help students start the academic year equipped to learn, Kiwanis Club members delivered supplies to the Cape Henlopen School District. Craig Warrington, district homeless liaison, and Stephanie Collick, visiting teacher, accepted the donations and expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation on behalf of the students they serve.

Kiwanis Club members also presented diapers and toddler clothing to the Community Resource Center, along with a check for $1,000 to help meet the needs of families CRC serves. The center staff were thrilled and said all of the items delivered are in urgent demand as community needs are growing.
