Atracare is expanding its women’s health services with the addition of gynecology care led by Leo Eschbach Jr., DO, a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with more than two decades of experience caring for women in southern Delaware.
The new service provides women throughout Sussex County with another local option for preventive, routine and specialized gynecologic care.
Eschbach has a long-standing presence in the southern Delaware medical community and has cared for generations of women throughout the region. He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree in 1995 from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 2000.
His clinical experience includes preventive gynecologic care, menstrual and hormonal concerns, pelvic pain, menopause, contraception, and the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of gynecologic conditions. Eschbach also has extensive experience in minimally invasive gynecologic procedures.
Gynecology appointments with Leo Eschbach Jr. will be available through Atracare's Plantation Road Medical Center, Rehoboth.
The addition of gynecology represents another step in Atracare’s continued expansion beyond urgent care and into a more comprehensive model of locally accessible healthcare. Patients will be able to access gynecologic care while remaining connected to Atracare’s broader network of primary care, pediatrics, mental health, urgent care and other medical services.
