Audrey Lee (Lavenets) Comm, Cape cafeteria employee
Audrey Lee (Lavenets) Comm, 61, of Harbeson, passed away at her home Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Audrey was born Aug. 4, 1960, to the late Henry and Artie Lee (Steele) Lavenets in Lewes.
She worked for the Cape Henlopen School District in the cafeteria for 20 years. She absolutely loved seeing the smiling faces of all those children every day. In her free time, she enjoyed thrifting and yard saling.
In addition to her parents, Audrey is preceded in death by her brother, Steve Lavenets and her sister, Dottie Lavenets.
She will be sorely missed by her husband of 24 years, Andrew William Comm; her son, Garrett Lavenets; her sister, Jamie-Lyn Lavenets; her two stepchildren and her many nieces and nephews.
Services and interment are private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Audrey's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org/donate.
Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Services, Milton.
