Aug. 27 Stango Park concert moved to Cape High

Due to storm damage to the stage in Stango Park, the Lewes Summer Concert with 5th Avenue featuring Vincent Varrassi will be moved indoors to Cape Henlopen High School, 1250 Kings Highway, Lewes. The concert is scheduled for 7 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 27.

5th Avenue is an elegant and intimate music experience, with a mix of selections from the Great American Songbook, jazz classics and original works. 5th Avenue exudes a level of virtuosity and charm that delights audiences at every performance.

The last concert is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 2, outdoors at Stango Park at 6:30 p.m. as long as all damage and weather is clear.  Please be on the lookout for updates. There is no indoor back-up location for this concert. Scheuduled is Ty Sherwood & Tydewater Band.

Concerts are free and provide a family friendly event with diverse music options. All are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, snacks, and their dancing shoes.
