Millsboro leadership development expert and author Jo Ann Justice announced her new book, "You Don't Have a People Problem: Leadership Is the Problem and the Solution for Performance, Retention and Profit," will be released Wednesday, July 29, in online and print editions.
Drawing on years of experience in leadership development, human resources, organizational consulting and executive coaching, Justice challenges a common assumption found in many workplaces: that organizational struggles are primarily employee problems. Instead, Justice explores how leadership influences communication, accountability, employee engagement, retention, workplace culture, organizational performance and profitability.
"Many organizations are working hard to address turnover, disengagement, accountability concerns and performance challenges," said Justice. "The question leaders must ask is whether those issues are truly people problems or whether leadership practices are contributing to the results the organization is experiencing."
The book provides practical leadership strategies designed to help leaders strengthen communication, establish accountability, develop employees, improve workplace culture and create stronger organizational outcomes.
As founder and CEO of Justice Leadership Development, the author works with business owners, executives, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions and fire service leaders to strengthen leadership capability and organizational effectiveness.
