Barn dance fundraiser to benefit therapeutic riding Oct. 19
Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding will host its 4th Annual Barn Dance fundraiser from 6 to 10 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 19, at its indoor arena, 17170 Harbeson Road, Milton.
Guests will dance to the music of the Mason Dixon Band and enjoy dinner prepared by Whole Roast Barbecue. Tickets for dancing and dinner are $45, which includes one drink ticket. There will be a cash bar, silent auction and 50/50 raffle.
Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding is a nonprofit entity. It is the only Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International-affiliated center in Sussex and Kent counties.
Its certified therapeutic riding instructors and trained volunteers have served the greater Delmarva area with equine-assisted therapy since 1988. The group is dedicated to improving the physical and emotional well-being of children and adults living with disabilities in a supportive environment for both riders and their families.
