Barry Lee Sellers, Outlet Liquors employee

Barry Lee Sellers, 73, of Rehoboth Beach, formerly of Lancaster, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. He was born Aug. 5, 1946, in Ronks, Pa., son of the late Walter and Mary Sellers.

Barry graduated from Conestoga Valley High School in Lancaster, Pa., class of 1964. He honorably served in the U.S. Army for four years. He then started his career in banking, working at Wachovia Bank, then later working for Total Payroll Service in Lancaster, from which he retired in 2012. It was then he and his wife Darlene moved to Rehoboth Beach. It was here he enjoyed working part time at Outlet Liquors in the wine section. In his spare time, Barry loved baking, traveling and taking road trips, but most of all, spending time with his family. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sellers was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Martin. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Darlene Sellers of Rehoboth Beach; two sons: Jason Sellers and his wife Kim of York, Pa., and Darin Sellers and his partner Mark Harding of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; one brother, Robert Sellers and his companion Joyce Tuggle of Monticello, Ky.; two sisters: Judy Sellers and Linda Sellers, both of Lancaster; friend Peg Frey, and Anna Dennis, who he considered like a daughter, and her children: Elvis Garmongar Morris, Abraham Keita and Bedei Gabala. 

All services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Sellers' name to Hospice and Community Care, Lancaster, 685 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17604.
