Basket-weaving workshop at Rehoboth Art League Nov. 16
Rehoboth Art League will offer a basket-weaving workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16.
Artist Heidi Wetzel will teach attendees how to weave a basket vase with glass liner, and participants will take home their completed baskets at the end of the workshop. All tools and materials will be provided. All abilities are welcome. The cost of the all-day workshop is $80 per person.
Wetzel is an award-winning local fiber artist and basket weaver. She originally came from Germany as a teenager and now lives and weaves in Easton, Md. She uses unique and indigenous materials, as well as materials she brings back from her many travels. Her work can be seen at many local studios.
