I think Bayview residents should have priority parking in front of our homes.
We pay property taxes. We have to pay for the sidewalks. Our little strip of sidewalk cost $1,200. Yet we have to share the parking space with visitors who are not respectful.
Recently a car dweller has been hanging around and my neighbor reports she had to clean up discarded cigarettes and a bag of poop! This is just one example.
A neighborhood down the road near Cape Henlopen has permit-only parking. Bayview residents should have the same. I am looking for someone on the Lewes council or other decision makers to help the residents on Bayview.
