Bayview residents deserve permit parking

May 24, 2019

As homeowners on Bayview Avenue, we have had enough of the visitors who have no respect for the residents who live, pay taxes and maintain our properties.

We have people who eat on our porch, leave their trash, bathe their naked children, dump their sand (in the very expensive road), cut though our yard, walk in our house, leave their cars running while they drag their stuff off the beach then shake it out on our sidewalk, and even leave dirty diapers and and other disgusting things and then disrespect us if we ask them to clean up after themselves.

This is unacceptable. We have even been yelled at for cleaning off our porch because their car might get wet.

The town dictates what we can and can’t do in our own yard but has no interest in protecting us from these ill-mannered individuals.

Why can Cape Shores have permit parking only and we get all the riff-raff?  It is about time the county council looks into this problem and look out for the taxpaying citizen and not the beach visitor.  We want permit-only parking ASAP.  I thank you in advance for resolving this very disturbing issue.
