Beachcombers Corvette Club donates to local nonprofits

At the monthly meeting of Beachcombers Corvette Club of Southern Delaware, three donation checks were presented from the proceeds of the annual car show. Warrior Weekend, People’s Place II and Clothing Our Kids were each given a check for $2,000.
Since the year 2000, the club has given more than $120,000 to various community charities. Club members extend thanks to all car owners who have attended the shows at First State Chevrolet over the last 18 years.
Monthly meetings are held at 7 p.m., first Thursday of each month at Mulligan’s Pointe in Georgetown. An optional dinner is at 6 p.m. before the meeting.
