Beacon Middle students selected for All State Junior Chorus

Beacon Middle School announced that 11 of its students were selected for the All State Junior Chorus.
Auditions took place in November at Smyrna Middle School, where students had to prepare a solo selection and also sight read music. In blind auditions, students are scored based on a number of qualifications determined by the Delaware Music Educators Association. The scores are totaled, and results are posted.
Students selected to participate in All State Junior Chorus perform with other students selected from throughout the State of Delaware.
