Beebe Healthcare has officially transitioned to a new platform for patient surveying that will allow the organization to receive more timely and actionable feedback, and enhance responsiveness to patients and their families.
The change comes as Beebe continues to advance its quality and safety initiatives with a focus on improving patient experiences and outcomes.
“This transition represents an important step in our continuous journey to being a high-reliability organization,” said Troy Schmit, chief quality officer at Beebe Healthcare. “I’m confident that NRC Health’s tools will give us an opportunity to enhance the care experience for our patients.”
Patient surveying on the NRC platform launched July 6. Patients can expect to receive a survey within a few days following their visit, just as they do now, and do not need to do anything to sign up for the survey.
Compared to previous patient surveys, questions will be more comprehensive, targeting specific areas depending on the exact services provided. This will allow the organization to gain a more thorough picture of the care experience for patients and determine where there are opportunities to improve.
“At Beebe, we’re always looking for opportunities to hear directly from our patients about what they value in our providers and our organization, and what we can be doing better,” said Dr. David A. Tam, Beebe Healthcare president and CEO. “We’re committed to listening to our patients and our community as we work to continuously improve.”
